Buck is a modern day mountain man living in southwest Colorado. Uncanny in his habit of showing up just in time to help someone out or fix something, he was already a legend when one day he saved a lame elk from a hungry wolf. The legend grew from then on as he tamed the elk and it became his riding companion. Read of the adventures of Buck Sims and The Galloping Elk of Archuleta County. When you're done with those adventures there are a few more short stories as an entertainment bonus. Buck can be read by adults and teens as well.
